Integrations & APIs

• Cleaner Integrations Page: Streamlined layout and usability for managing and configuring integrations.

• Axon Integration Enhancements:

  • Added brightness control for Axon devices.

  • Refactored and improved Axon integration logic for better maintainability.

  • Enabled Axon broadcast notifications to originate from the SmartSpace News module.

• New Integrations (In Progress):

  • Shelly API Integration – foundational work to enable IoT device control and monitoring.

  • RADIUS Wi-Fi Integration – initial setup for secure network authentication.

• Exchange Subscription Resilience: Automatically re-creates expired Microsoft Exchange subscriptions to maintain reliable calendar sync.

• Integration Helper Improvements: Hidden experimental integrations in production environments.

• Self-Sign-Up Integration Module: Introduced to support automatic tenant and user onboarding workflows.

Tenant & Partner Enhancements

• Tenant Flavours & Rack Router: Introduced a white-labelling framework with partner default flavours and tenant-specific overrides.

• Tenant Types: Added classifications to support varied tenant configurations and permissions.

• Tenant Settings Page:

  • Displays tenant attributes from the Current object.

  • Refreshed layout for improved clarity.

  • Added a section for custom SMTP settings and a test email button.

• Partner Portal Updates:

  • Refreshed the tenant “show” and “edit” pages for a cleaner experience.

  • Added Sidekiq and Letter Opener for improved email debugging in development.

Platform Core & User Experience

• New Dashboard: Introduced a redesigned dashboard for a more modern and data-driven overview.

• New Table Layouts: Standardised table designs across desks, rooms, floorplans, areas, smart labels, users, groups, teams, events, and news items.

• Cleaner Directory Experience:

  • Added a new directory page for viewing user details.

  • Improved /users off-canvas tabs and UI layout.

  • User sign-ups now default to show_in_directory = false.

AI & Automation

• AI Agent: Initial deployment of SmartSpace’s AI Agent for intelligent automation and decision support.

Developer & Admin Tools

• Demo Data Tools:

  • Added “Load Demo Data” and “Load Demo Bookings” options for testing and demonstrations.

• Driver System Enhancements:

  • Drivers now authenticated by default, with optional public override (PUBLIC_PAGES list).

  • All driver render requests now routed through the central pages_controller.

• External References Framework:

  • Rolled out new external references to desks and teams.

  • Restricted external reference creation to valid object types (e.g., rooms can only have room attributes).

  • Added “notes” and “hint” fields to EXTERNAL_REFERENCE_FIELDS.

UI & UX Enhancements

• Integrations Tab Redesign:

  • Rebranded to “Settings” across desk, room, and team pages.

  • Simplified configuration process and improved grouping of options.

• Desk List Bug Fix: Resolved issue where desk list filters were lost when editing a rule on pages beyond the first.

• Minew Booking Update: Fixed full-day mode display issue when booking on the same day.

Miscellaneous Improvements

• Dictionary System: Introduced dictionary file for label renames (e.g., “Team” → “Tenant”).

• Base Domain for Emails: url_for now uses the flavour-specific base domain for all outbound email links.
